Dear All,
We will again be organising a Rotary Race day at Goodwood for the horse racing on Saturday 11th September, where Rotarians can enjoy a reduced entrance ticket for themselves and their colleagues. There is no restriction to the number of tickets that you can have and in previous years this event has proved enjoyable for all those who attended. I am delighted to inform you that Goodwood have held the price of last year.
There will be the usual designated meeting place for all Rotarians to use if they so wish and I would ask that you bring this to the attention of your clubs so that your members may be able to take advantage of the greatly reduced entrance fees which are only available to Rotarians and their clubs. Previous years have seen Rotarians picnicking prior to the racing and some have also made use of the various restaurants and bars that are available on the site. If you require any special arrangements please feel free to give me a ring on: 01425 615605 and I will endeavour to answer your requests, but please remember that you can have as many tickets as you like. Passes are available for coach transport to and from Goodwood and these are free of charge; if you feel that your party would like to join another Rotary club to fill a coach again please give me a ring and I can advise of your nearest Rotary club that will be attending Goodwood.
