President Ivor welcomesTony Carpenter to Rotary at the Club meeting, where Members, with partners (including new Member Tony’s wife Josie) were given a presentation by Hope & Homes for Children, a charity supported in Past President Bob’s year, and Bob was delighted to present them with a cheque towards their works in Ukraine, Eastern Europe, and Africa.

SHOE BOX NEWS from Tony Clarke: The 2009 Shoebox appeal resulted in a total of 27172 boxes being sent to Montenegro, Romania and Tanzania from the District. This is a record number and continues the yearly increases.Our Club's contribution to this total was 359 boxes which was slightly down on last yeart, but still a good effort. Lets hope for better next time!
